Biography

Priscilla Quansah

Priscilla Quansah is a practicing attorney currently working for the State Supreme Court in the area of commercial litigation. Previously, Priscilla held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff and served as an in-house attorney at the local Legislature in Long Island, New York where she drafted legislation focused on community development, financial assistance for minority, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, and alternative approaches to mental health response and intervention.

Priscilla graduated with honors from CUNY Hunter College with a dual degree in Political Science and English Literature, Language, & Criticism. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During her time there, she worked for the Hofstra Law Community and Economic Development Clinic where she provided legal and transactional assistance to not-for-profits, community-based organizations, and micro-enterprises in low-income communities. With a background in grass-roots campaigning, Priscilla has the heart to serve and aims to continue to use her background and experience to bring attention to those in underrepresented and under-resourced communities.
