At Blessing with a purpose, we believe in “changing the world one child at a time,” ensuring equal access to education for children in Ghana’s disadvantaged communities. Mr. Jimmy Quansah has a passionate history of service to the community. From helping and supporting those in need in the streets of NYC to weekly Sunday visits to nursing homes while attending college in South Carolina. All this established a solid sense of serving, helping, and giving back to his community.
After a visit to Agona Kwaman Village, Ghana, where his mother grew up and his uncle Nana Odiadem is a chief, Jimmy again was pushed to do something. So Jimmy started Blessing With a Purpose, an organization dedicated to enhancing children’s livelihoods through education and the community by improving their standard of life. He saw immediate needs; the need for school classrooms, a cafeteria, and a clinic required upgrading. So the Blessing With a Purpose team has taken it upon itself to be hands-on. Regular visits to Ghana ensure the resources raised are changing the life of one child at a time and the communities that raise them.
